Category 3: Marriage Was Solemnized in Gurgaon/Gurugram and the couple is currently living outside Gurgaon/Gurugram but they have one ID Proof either in the name of the bride or groom (Only Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driving licence, and Passport are accepted) containing a Gurgaon/Gurugram address in it.
Category 4: Marriage was solemnized in Gurgaon/Gurugram but the couple is living outside of Gurgaon/Gurugram and has no ID proof with a Gurgaon/Gurugram address on it. In this case, the couple could register their marriage as it was solemnized in Gurgaon/Gurugram but they would have to produce a certificate attested by Wedding Venue Management, the original booking receipt of the wedding venue, and the payment receipt.

How to start the procedure?
Apply online with the documents mentioned above by registering at https://shaadi.edisha.gov.in/. After registration, take a printout of the application and visit the registrar's office for approval. Please carry the above-mentioned documents in their originals while visiting.

How many visits will be required?
Multiple visits will be required to the office of the registrar for the approval of the application. Once the application is approved, an appointment date will be given to the registrants. On that appointment date, the bride, groom, and Witnesses need to visit for registration.

Normally, it takes 15–25 days to complete the marriage registration process in Gurgaon/Gurugram if the application and documents are as per requirement.
